The World Youth Movement for Democracy is a network that aims to support the development of sustainable democracy movements by empowering the next generation of democracy activists.
In Nigeria, our democracy is run in such a way that the opinion of a privileged few becomes the opinion of the majority. Most decisions are taken on behalf of the larger society thereby making such decisions rather unpopular. Is there anything we can all do to address this especially during the activities marking the World Democracy Day on the 18th?
In Malawi we have a mild sort of democracy but we are testing the effect of majority on th part of government whereby bills are being passed like follod waters.Arrogant politicians who cant think of people first .You can actualy get to know their true nature in the comments they make when taken to task on matters of public interest for example acute fuel shortage.
One spokes person of a rulling part has blown it in the face by publicly declaring that the government does not to put it straight manufacture forex i hope this is something and well i think that this comment can be a nice essay question
